It''s a terrible cliche but time is genuinely a great healer and your ex may be angry and bitter today but that is likely to change with time. You can help speed up that process by keeping your own anger and bitterness in check because if you don''t, you end up going round and round in circles and it just prolongs the agony.

It''s not fair that she should have cost you in terms of equipment and obviously livelihood (and you would do well to (very politely)point out to her that she''s now down on child maintenance as a result) but if you can find a way to smile and let it pass, it will be so much mentally healthier for all of you. She''ll also learn that she can''t rattle you quite so easily as she thought - she may up the game for a while but eventually, it gets boring playing with someone who isn''t interested.
