Linda, Life has its tests and trials, and some of us more then others, all we can do is ride the storm.

When my husband walked out an elderly neighbour (wise woman) said you need two things 'guts and determination' and her words ring in my ears everytime the going gets tough.

You and your son are a team, im sure you love him more then anything in the world and he you, that in itself is worth living for.

have pmd you

hugs
starry

Thank you for your kind responses - I am having a really really bad day and I know that my stbx's daughter should not suffer on her big day but at the same time I should not sit up until 3 in the morning with an 11 year old boy crying that he just wants his dad to love him like he used to and that he is scared for the future - I am so sorry if I offended anyone - I really didn't want to seem like I was attention seeking - I know that I am an adult and have to deal with whatever is thrown my way but when you see your children crying their eyes out into the small hours it hurts like hell and you just want the pain to stop.

Sorry

Linda

Linda you are not alone, I didn't know it was possible to cry as much as I do and I feel drained of all energy and life because of the crying. It's my dd who keeps me alive when times are at their worst but I am told by others who have experienced a marriage break up, that all this grief passes and life will be enjoyed again. Hang on to that hope xx

Just promise me you'll go see your gp, there is counselling and medication that will kinda help block you getting on the bottom rung, you deserve to feel in a better place. Go into chat later if you can, I go most eves and the peeps there have picked me off the floor, dusted me off and helped me get up the emotional ladder a bit.xxx
