I have only been on this site for about a week and it is re assurring to here other people feeling the same way. It has been 10 weeks since my wife told me she had somebody else , friends and familly are great but all are saying i need to move on and need to ' get a woman to take my mind off everything ' i usually laugh it off but have explained to closer friends that i really feel massively guilty when talking or even looking at other women, i was really worried thinking i was weird as nobody seemed to understand this including my brother who has gone thru something similar and just got on with it.

Ten weeks is NOTHING. For some of us it can take two years before we are ready for that. Take your time to lick your wounds and discover who you are again. It would be very unusual indeed to be able to date after such a short space of time. I am also 10 weeks down this road and though I am recovering now, I think it will be at least another 10 weeks before I am truly ready to date again.
