Lost the running bug after completing a long held challenge a couple of yrs ago. Put my name down for a 5k in a couple of weeks to see if i can kick start my engine.

Good luck to all with their challenges.

Hi all

I was just looking back at this thread I started 5 months ago. Well I have completed my first 10 km race today in 61mins. I cannot believe how far I have come in these past months.

Things at the beginning was very dark and I thought how would I manage my life on my own, steadily it is getting better. Don''t get me wrong I get the down days too but they seem to get less with time.

For all of you starting this process you might be in a dark place at the moment but there will be lights to guide you through it.

All the best, take care and above all stay strong x

Well Done Everyone

Home Alone a great time to finish in and doesn''t it make you feel good.

I have started running twice a week now, could only manage 2 miles to start off now up to 3 miles

AND

Tomorrow I am decorating my bedroom, have completed the paintwork, now with the instruction of my mum I will be hanging wallpaper - Laurel and Hardy (for those of you old enough) comes into my mind LOL!

Will report back when it''s completed, unless of course I have to call a professional in.

Take Care All x

Well done HKHD

Keep up with the running. I find it helps me to focus on things. You are doing what I want to do next and that''s to revamp the bedroom.

When you have finished yours call by and you can do mine ;)

All the best x
