Your situation sounds crazy. Before court you usually make a no prejudice offer to each other so when you get hers, if it''s what you''d agreed then you just write back and say yes. Then there''s no need for court. Or maybe the mediator will be able to get through to her.

You only sent them an email on Thursday - you need to allow them time to consult with their client and respond to you. Factor in that today is a Bank Holiday it''s unlikely that you will hear anything before Wednesday.

I attended my MIAM this afternoon.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I''m fully entitled to legal aid for mediation and for half the cost of a Consent Order.
Mediation draft a document detailing the agreement between both parties which is then sent to my wife''s solicitor.
I will have to attend a second meeting where my wife will also be in attendance. However she has requested to be in a separate room so we don''t actually meet face to face.
The mediator wasn''t aware that my wife and I had come to a mutual agreement. However he seemed to know that my wife only wanted half the proceeds of the FMH and wasn''t after my pension.
The mediator was confident that all will be sorted at the next meeting and a consent order will follow soon after.
The meeting went well and the mediator was a very nice chap indeed.
The only unpleasant part was when I was waiting outside the mediation venue.
A very scruffy drunk man, covered in tattoos came up to me, grabbed my jacket and threatened to punch me if I didn''t buy him a can of cider. However, apart from that the day went well.
