It all boils down to the financial facts. Bringing in "who said what" etc just adds to the costs and does not advance the cause.

Ih he is going to be difficult it is best to just get the AR stuff kicked of asap. Keep emotions out of it (hard I know) and just stick to the facts. If you can be clear about what you need .. and produce supporting factual evidence - that will help your case. If he chooses to rant and muddy the waters, that will just irritate the judge (see Nell's cautionary tale) :laugh:.

Think my solicitor realises even mediation wouldn't work with him hence the AR route. I've given the cheque in so it should kick start real soon (i hope).

I'm pretty clear of which way I want to go. In terms of the assets mines simple as you can get. Don't have a pension. I have a company car and not a major debt (1 credit card.

He's digging himself a huge hole. He has another property under his sole name which is is trying to sell. He doesn't realise I am entitled to half that. I also helped pay the mortgage on that once we were married for a year (before we bought the FMH)
