Hi, I’m currently still living with my wife for various reasons even though we separated nearly a year ago. I would rather sell the property when we divorce but she wants to keep it and rent out the spare room. How do I go about forcing the issue on the sale of the property if she won’t sell?

If you can’t agree then ultimately the court will decide what happens.

You need to post a lot more details about income, ages, children and length of marriage plus cohabitation for people to give an indication of what a fair split may look like.
