I am just struggling today. The levels of anxiety are reaching horrible levels.

Just heard my wife laughing and joking at the front door and it feels like I am going to explode.

I won''t - but the feeling is horrendous.

Stood right by you fella.

I know how it is mine said she was going to leave in six week time and do not tell anybody in case daughter failed a levels. She sat at home quaffing wine and on phone laughing and joking . I was dying inside.
That was four year ago my friend. i wish i knew then what i know know, boy would i handle it differently .

Moona, you are going to be ok. Once she is gone, if you can try no contact . Painful , but bloody necessary in my case. Like extracting a bad tooth. Pain then relief.

Moona, she may seem 50 foot tall to you right now. Get this , she will shrink. You are getting stronger going through this.

Try, picturing her in black and white and shrinking the picture give her a silly voice, Work that brain ,change thoughts . Write down her faults . Anything to get her off the pedestal. Knock it down . You are worth far more than what you are feeling right now . Far more .

Go write pages and pages of what comes in your head . Thrash the pillow. Do whatever it takes fella. Whatever it takes for you . What does Moona want . Let your light shine bright and sod her . She cannot hurt you if you don''t allow it .

I am stood with you fella . So come on mate keep posting talking and get her out your system . loads support on here . You are not alone , you got people like me and all wiki supporting you .Look at all the advise from others on here . All rooting for you . Come on , why... we could take on the world .... and win.

Shoulder to shoulder

Hi

This situation must be intolerable for you. It''s unimaginable to comprehend how a person switches to the behaviour that your wife is currently exhibiting.

Separation is unbearable for those who don''t want it but to be under the same roof as someone who can''t wait for it is nothing short of callous. She has emotionally gone but physically remains until it suits her not to be.

I remember Mitchum once saying that through her separation she had a bolt bag which she could just grap and go elsewhere when things got horrendously difficult.

Do you have such a bag....

Get out of that situation. She''s gone and I know that will hurt to read but you need to protect your very vulnerable self right now.

I wish you warmth

If I could take each and every one of you out for a drink I would. I appreciate all your comments.

You have no idea how much I am relying on wiki at the moment.

Lack of sleep last night and several drinks I think has really affected me today (only around 4 hours sleep). There is not long to go now and I just need to try and avoid her.

Last week I hit the gym three times and didn''t touch a drop. I am going to revert to that strategy.

Currently listening to my daughter singing at the top of her voice in the shower. That is putting a smiile on my face.

Thanks again folks.

M.

An important moment to look forward to is when you realise there is absolutely nothing more she can do to hurt you. It will come, and pretty soon after she''s gone and you no longer have to deal with her on a daily basis. I remember that moment and can still feel the sense of relief with the thought of no more hurt.

Stick with wiki friends. I could write a book about how they protected me from the worst of my ex and helped me through the quagmire.

I have no idea how support from total strangers can help us feel better, I only know it does.

Yes, Littlegreen is correct, I was that bag lady! I had them ready to put in the car and get away when I just couldn''t cope with being in the same house another moment. I could write another book on spare rooms I have slept in. :)
