Received my award letter today for CM and I''m being told my ex earns £140 a week!!!! I know this isn''t true, I can even go on line and see his company accounts where £34000 I don''t think CM have looked at the dividends for the company is this normal. I''ve been told he has to pay me £13 a week, For god sake how can I feed, clothe and house a child for that! I''m fuming has anyone else had this happen to them, why haven''t they looked at the dividends?

Is he self employed?

Dividends aren''t taken into account unfortunately unless you apply for a variation.

He''s a director of a ltd company, that''s terrible that can''t be right most directors put down a minimum wage and then take dividends I can''t believe they don''t look at them.

WYSECIAL is correct. I was in the same position as you with my ex.Apply for a variation to have his dividends taken into account, as I recall it just took a phone call to them rather than a letter.

Thank you for your help I will call them today, but what a ridiculous system they should take them into account straight away. I wonder how many people accept this and struggle on when they should be receiving more to help their children

How did it go? My ex was paying £7 per week for 9 months as he was unemployed, yet he maintains substantial savings and property. I did speak to the CSA but they said I would have to take him to Court as a variation wouldn''t work. Were you successful with the variation?
