My partner is now primary carer of his 16 year old son and has been for 5 weeks. He has been paying his Stbx through CSA. He has called them and child benefit to inform them of situation along with writing to college, banks etc etc.
he expected the CSA to take some action but they say that unless Stbx calls and says son no longer there Dad still has to pay !! Obviously she is not willingly going to do that.

What happens if he stops the DDR. How can he stop paying for a son who lives with him full time and does not see Mum at all.

Thank you for any advice
