Hi,

I am going through my financial remedy at the moment and have already been to FDR which we did not agree and heading to final hearing now around October 2024.

However, I don not feel my solicitors are particularly good and have a lot of knowledge to ask the right questions. I am having to do most of the work myself when it come to the questionnaires and schedule of deficiencies.

can I change my solicitor at this later stage?

Thank you in advance for making the time to answer my question

Yes you can.

You’re not even obliged to have a solicitor and could represent yourself if you wish.

Bear in mind though that your current solicitor will require paying in full before they release your files to your new solicitor or you.
