Wife and i have agreed what we want to do.

Wife has had an hour with solicitor and listened to what she can have etc...

Can we just write down and give to the solicitor what we want to do financially?

Do we still need to do financial forms etc.... or just adk for Consent Order draft? We are after saving money and hasle for sake if our child.

Thanks

You can have a consent order drawn up by a solicitor, as to your wishes. This will have to go before a judge, but so long as you have BOTH received legal advice, it should be stamped as approved, unless it is completely unfair.

Do we still need to give each of our financial information or can we bypass this to make it quicker?

We filled in a joint form D81 - Form to accompany consent orders on finance. It was much less complicated than form E but gave enough information for the judge to decide if our agreed split was fair and we both signed to say that it was a true record.
