My ex have agreed finally on a settlement that we are both happy with.
We are using figures that are 18/12 old.
My solicitor says that we can't continue with the court order as my ex won't provide his latest payslips and pension evaluation.
We have a court hearing on March 20th.
My ex is also refusing mediation so I have been on my own ( twice) .
I just want this done as I am fed up with legal fees which is not getting us anywhere.
can we get a private contract drawn if we can't have a court order

Until there is a court order stating that neither of you has any further claim on the other there Ina always the danger that your ex will reappear and want to make a financial claim.
