I married in SA 20 years ago and separated 12 years ago when came to UK. I would like to get a fast easy divorce from UK as my ex doesnt want to initiate the process from SA. Can you please advise me? many thanks

I suppose the first comment is that it could depend on what part of the UK you live in, but assuming it''s England and Wales, then if ought to be able to divorce him if you are habitually resident in E & W. In other parts of the UK the position may be different.

There is the practical problem of serving the Petition and sorting out the loose ends when you are so far apart, but that''s a separate issue
