Having read your other posts, has your ex now changed from being a self employed contractor to being permanent employed by a company?

Did you have full financial disclosure at time of Consent Order?

If your ex is in breach of a court order can you not apply to the court for an enforcement of the order? He may counteract it with an application to vary.
If your ex is employed you could always apply to the court for an attachment of earnings order because he has breached the order.
I don''t know all your circumstances but I made an application to enforce a court order for SM and the court costs weren''t very much £100 I think and the costs involved were granted to me by the court so my ex has to pay maintenance plus pay the costs of my application.
Your ex cannot simply do as he wants and reduce the payments - he''s breached the order so unless you agree to the reduction can you not just make the application to court?

Hello
No, he has not changed jobs (yet), but is saying he plans to and giving me notice that he will not be able to afford SM on new salary. At the moment although there is a new wife and step children in the equation, with regards to outgoings his income is the same as 12 months ago when we had full financial disclosure before agreeing SM figure.
I am going to apply to court to enforce the back payments and ensure future payments are made to full amount.
He has asked me if I have a counter proposal and tbh I would like a lump sum payment to have a complete Clean Break, hence I am asking about whether to suggest a lump sum pay-off instead of SM.
Thank you
