You really need to ask your solicitor. Perhaps the letter from the other solicitor raised an issue your solicitor wasn''t aware of before or something has come to light which changes the basis of the initial advice.


bettywhite, don''t rely on hourly charges as indication of the overall costs. A solicitor who charges £250 an hour plus VAT may work more efficiently and therefore more cost effectively in the long run.
