I am seeking legal advice soon, me and my husband are in rented council property, I want a divorce, I do not have anyone else
he has nowhere to go, and is sleeping on sofa. We have teens
and a nine year old, he is saying he wont leave and wants full cust of nine year old. I have been told to get a residency order for him. I am willing to let husband have him weekends, and also pick him up after school a couple of nights but he is being unreasonable saying he wants full custody, its a nightmare because when he is of work he is begging me to save the marriage which has broken down over many years we also only have one car which he has paid for, he threatens me with not using the car, I am currently saving up for a cheap car for myself.
He wants most of the furniture, to be honest I dont care about the furniture, I have been married 17 years we split up once before and got forced into counselling, but I do not want this, I just want out.

there is a phone number at the top of the home page where you can get a free 30 minute call to a solicitor to help you make decisions.
It might help you to start to see your way out of this very difficult situation.

Good luck
