My ex husband has died, we had four children. He married again but she is now deceased. They had no children. Am I eligible for inheritance.

Not unless he made a Will after getting divorced specifically naming you.

It might be possible to make a claim on behalf of the children if they were financially dependent upon their father - particularly if the Will does not give provision for the children.

It might also be possible to make a claim in your own right if you were receiving maintenance. This does rather depend upon your respective ages though.

However, generally speaking, you have as much right to claim against his estate as I do. Once you are divorced and have gone your separate ways. There is no currency in previous associations unless there was unfinished business between you.
