I was being facetious. The court would never make such an order - it would be contrary to the purpose of the court.

Some people are unwilling or unable to represent themselves in which case they instruct a lawyer. There are strict controls on who has ''rights of audience'' to address the court which is why a person cannot use their mate ''Dave'' from the pub to represent them. Unless Dave is a lawyer of course.
