Well, I went to see my solicitor for an assessment of legal aid and was a bit of a disappoiontment.

Brought all my paperwork asked to bring, but the formula thats used seems to be a complete impossibility to find as I believe i''d be eligible and I''m thinking that my sol just doesnt want to do Legal Aid work so has made me have too much.

The top limit apparantly is £733 of disposable income a month, and i apparantly has £790 - an Absolute joke.

Does anyone know the forumla. I can do maths so if someone knows, you can throw it at me!

Cheers!
W

It''s not just about income these days, if it''s divorce or AR you can only apply on the basis on domestic abuse.

That doesnt actually tell you anything unfortunately Dukey, its virtually a pointless ''maybe yes maybe no'' website link.

There is a quite detailed calculation underpinning LA which seems to be secret....its like they dont want folk to know what it is. All very secretive.
