Been asked by the Judge to provide a draft Court Order for the FDR.

Is there a draft one i could use to start me off, and is the same as a Position Statement or Note?

Am getting totally confused. :)

Hi Harrydog

You really need a solicitor/ or legal expert to draw up a Court Order, this is not something you should try yourself. It may be worth giving the wiki help line a call.

Orders need to be worded correctly and you need to try and ensure all if and buts are included to prevent future disputes.

From reading others posts a badly written or vague Order causes endless future issues.

I was represented, and my barrister drew up an order, if you go to court with an electronic version the judge may use it as the base for the Final Order. This worked in my favour as my ex solicitor had also drawn up a draft which was not as thorough as mine and as he didn''t have a electronic version the judge used mine :-)

Can''t afford a solicitor, am self repping, earn less then 10k, get tax credits, but just no spare money.

My ex earning nearly five times what i do, is using a solicitor from the largest law firm in the city we live in.

So ideally would like a solicitor to draw the order up, but when my youngest needs new shoes as his feet have grown again, theres nothing spare, and it might lead to problems in the future, but hopefully will be earning more money by then.

Harry I think you will find the wiki service very cheap compared to a solicitor give them a call free from a landline and check. I think they will do a one off service for just drafting an order. Getting this done properly could be worth its weight in gold. Good Luck.
