Hi

I am self employed and need to engage a solicitor to support me with my negotiations with my STBX.

I''ve approached one reputable firm, but when discussing with their Partner the structure of my self employed ltd company, and the debate of salary vs dividends, leaving profit in the company etc, it was evident that they had no understanding or experience.

I would really like to know of any people who are Self Employed who have had a good experience with a Solicitor who really understands how they work, how they pay themselves, and can ensure they defend their client well.

Incidentally, I fully intend to pay my STBX a fair and reasonable settlement, it''s just that she doesn''t quite have the same intent and I need to tactically protect myself.

Many thanks
Mark
