I am unhappy with the service I have received from my current solicitor , who appears to have no management system, and has not used her knowledge of the divorve process to move the matter on. ( 8 months and the papers have not been served on my spouse , who won't acknowledge the petition posted to him and won't open the door to the enquiry agent sent to serve them )

Can anyone recommend a solicitor in the Sidcup / Dartford / Orpington , Kent area who would be able to deal with a spouse who is determined to make things as difficult as possible .

Hi Baylie

Welcome to wiki :)

we arent able to name indivual solictors on here, but if you go to this link
www.lawsociety.org.uk/choosingandusing/findasolicitor.law and type in your location, you will get a list of solictors in your area.

You could always ask friends, etc for a personal recomendation.

Could Wiki consider operating a system similar to Checkatrade ??

I've used it and it's great. Real comments from real customers and you get a feel for the type of service they're offering before you even phone them for a quote.

If anyone has any experiences good or bad of Solicitors in Sussex or Surrey please send me a private email via the wiki site....

Many thanks

(Was gonna self rep but am losing courage so am looking for a sol)

Hi Baylie,

Another option, you could always do what I did. I typed in Google - Solicitors in Bristol and four came up.
Then I looked at all the information on each one and made my selection from there. My solicitor's office was quick to reply to my email which I sent. Sent it on the 6th March (pm) and they were on the phone 7th March (am), and an appointment was made for the following Monday.

You could always give that a go for your area of the country.

Good Luck
