Challenging my legal costs

Yes I am im the process of doing the points of dispute.

I have had a costs draftsman look at my ex''s bill and he reckons it should be reduced to £38,000 all inclusive from £54,950. He also advises that I submit an offer of £27,000 to show that I am willing to negotiate.

My solicitors have agreed to submit my application as it is urgent - deadline is Friday 6th - even though I have lodged a formal complaint regarding not being informed of possibility of changes in the legal costs from public funding to private fees.

Could anyone give me details of solicitor or company who would assess my divorce costs of £5562 ordered against me

Although only the receiving party can request an assessment. It would be worthwhile making an offer to settle before forcing them down this route as you may be able to rely upon the offer later on.
