May I ask, since so many people have had various problems with their solicitors, has anyone successfully complained to the Law Society and either had a reduction on their bill or compensation?

Hi Lady,
I succesfully complained about a sol not disclosin assets and lyin in ourt....the non disclosure was held at first instance and at appeal...the lyin was ignored albeit evidenxce produced...same sol is now the president of such regulatory body...to me sols appear to be above the law
In answer to your queston re reduction.....i had near 4 years of correspondence/nonsense and albeit said sol wasresp..........no remumeration....as such it is apparent that sols are above the law
