Good evening,

One of my friend (Italian) got married in the USA with an American citizen some years ago, she left him and came to the UK 5 years ago.
As she has met someone else in London, she would like to get divorced as soon as possible but she doesn't know where is her husband. She tried to look for him via internet but failed.

She is desperate.Do you know how she can divorce, and how much it costs ?

Have a nice evening

She needs to show that she has made serious efforts to find her husband, but if she really cannot find out an address she can apply to the court for an application to dismiss with service of the petition. I believe this costs about £150 and adds approximatley one month to the procedure.
