Hi im self repping and would ask for any advice on my query? My ex had a business loan of 18k of which he had a personal guarantee, his business went under and he was left with the loan to pay, moving on 4 moths and unbeknown to me he was made bankrupt and I was forced into taking over this loan or the bank would come after my house as we were married! This I did under protest with my stbx promising to pay the loan, but unfortunateley for me he did not pay a penny and I have had to pay all the loan myself! Im still paying and he has now taken out further business loans, He laughs at me now and says the courts wont take this into account when sorting out the finances is this true I have paid all the payments plus all the interest and still owe £2,880.00, his financial conduct has a severe detriment to the pot and surely the courts will take this into account? any advice please? x
