Hi
I'm 3 months into my marriage separation.
It wasn't my choice.
Together for 28 yrs, married for 25.

I was a stay at home Mum, so I haven't worked for 26 years

We have just had a session to reach a financial agreement ( shuttle mediation)

My question is what is a reasonable period of time for adjustment for me?

The house will need to be sold & I will need to get a job

my mental health issues have re emerged since the separation,I am taking medication for anxiety & am on an anti depressant.

thanks for reading.

Hang in there, I was in a similar situation, together for 26 years then was told he's been having an affair for over 2 years!
You start by thinking of the separation for 24 hours a day, it then decreases and you grow stronger and stronger.
I'm now enjoying the single life and wondering why I didn't do it!
