Smurfy,

I want to second what Fitbird has said. Sorry but I think you need to listen to people that have experience of domestic abuse either personal or professional.

You need to find the right support so that you can find the strength to realise what your husband is really doing to you.

The sad thing is that many women go back to their abusers until they finally decide enough is enough. It took me 6 years after the first time I attempted to leave and 2 more children being brought into an abusive relationship before I found the catalyst to leave once and for all.

You need to find your catalyst, I only hope that it is soon.

Maybe he will change, maybe he won't. You need to change, you need to understand his behaviours are not that of a loving husband and then be in the position of then deciding whether you stay or not. Knowledge is Strength.

There are a few of us that can share our experiences, but you have to be ready.

Please, just stay safe Smurfy.

Take care

xx Sarah xx
