Hi Maddie,
I think this is the wonderful thing about so many people here... and that is the willingless to learn from their lifes experiences. I might be wrong but I can''t see the ones who do the walking awy doing any sort of self-analyse as they see nothing wrong with their behaviour (in my exs case at least) yet we as the ones left behind have this fabulous opportunity to learn and grow and come out way better people who (hopefully) will have more succesful relationships in the future (or if nothing else just better coping strategies when the doo-doo hits the fan anyway - and that is priceless).
I for one have taken all the advice given to me and my journey has been a complete eye openner but a worthwhile one. I won''t be sending my ex any thank you cards any time soon, but lets just say that I''m working hard to make my future one I will be proud of.

Hi Lou. You''re so right. The future should be brighter. Very different to the one we had mapped out as a pair. Once I''ve said goodbye to that and am genuinely at peace with it I''ll know I''m there.

Maddie - Many find that putting fingers to keyboard and sharing here is therapeutic in itself. It''s even better when the fab community responds!

You will have to expect bad days and good. My divorce is going through. For me Dec 31st was the day I handed back the keys to the FMH to the ex, and that was so tough. We will all have our moments and we rest assured that we are doing the right thing, remembering no pain no gain.

So hang in there, keep strong and carry on doing what you know you must do!
