You are right about our children - from the minute we bring them into the world that's it - they are priority.
I think that's what I find too - having to make all the decisions about them on your own (especially when they are in such turmoil because he has chosen to not put them first but himself at the moment) when I have always had their dad to share that responsibility with and knowing that we both have their best interests at heart always - it just doesn't feel like that anymore - it's us and him if that makes sense and that is painful.
