ive been in an arranged marriage for 5 years, my husband is a pig he used 2 beat me up and accuse me of cheating. couple of weeks ago i found out he's the one who's been having an affair and i want rid! he wants a divorce. my only worry is that the house is under mine and my brothers name as he wasnt working at the time he could,nt get a mortgage, when he finally did get a job he only paid bills that came evry 3 months, council tax and t.v licence, he has never once give me money for the house. what will he be entitled to?

Umm. Yr marriage is not a long one or a short one. Its in the middle. I would see a solicitor and see what can be done. It may be that becuase the house is in yr brothers and yr name that he will have limited access to any equity. As a guess I would think the likely outcome is a lump sum from you to him to get rid. But keep that to one side for now. Seek legal advice. Thats a good start. Falk
