Many thanks for all the info. I'm going tp contact the child maintenance phone line today & try and establish the best option. It may be that SM won't be applicable as my stbx is on average earning not a high earner. I'm prob going to stick with the mediation process and get a Consent Order produced.

Thanks again for everyones input & if anyone thinks of anything else that I need to consider please let me know.
