I have been a sincere wife while X2B a covicted rapist. I raised three children by myself..
we owned a beautiful home and now because of x2bS interfering family we have reached divorce second hearing. It didnt go too well for me as X2b and his family brainwashed my children against me and now I have to move into rental accomodation due to very high mortgage which X2B remortgaged without my consent.. barrister said its going to be costly to proove this.
I am on legal aid.
I am very upset today.
I dont believe this is british justice!

I respect how difficult your situation is and hope you are taking care of yourself.

Please refresh my memory...was yours a joint mortgage?

yes. Its a joint tenancy own home. We bought the three bedroom very run down property in 1997 for £156 k
X2B remortgaged without either by getting me to sign by a false way or forged my signature it was 2003 and I dont remember but I know i never sign without reading.

I told my barrister this he said you dont have enough funds to go that route to proove his done fraud..

ssoria,

You can ask the mortgage co to provide a copy of the relevant mortgage agreement.

My STBX has done the same thing. He asked me to sign a re-mortgage because he wanted £25,000 and I said no. He has to have forged my signature because we got the re-mortgage even after I refused. It's a joint mortgage. But like Elle says, you can get a copy of the agreement and it will show you at least.
