Hello

Legal aid is still available for pre court mediation, have a look at nfm.org.uk.

Mediation is one route to sorting out the finances, and will only work if both parties are willing to attend and work towards constructive discussions. Mediation doesn't provide legal advice on fairness etc. If you post details such as your respective ages, length of marriage, list of assets and money owed, income, etc; people here can offer advice on a potential fair split.

Maybe call the Wikivorce Helpline on 01202 805020 tomorrow?
