I am waiting for an appointment with a solicitor over the phone who was a former family law judge so I am sure he can advise. Once I have his report in place I can send it to her solicitor and we may avoid mediation, although I work full time my stbx''s parents are paying all her expenses and I will really struggle to afford it. I feel like saying if you won''t wait and want mediation you can pay for it.
Sorry bit frustrated.

That seems a little odd a Sol who was a judge, are you sure it''s not a sol who works part time as a judge?.

The odd bit is that he was a part time judge, but no more, usually they act as part time judge then go full time - why is he no longer a judge?.

Thanks Dukey.

You were right
