I divorced some time ago, and my ex-recently arranged an MIAM, but has decided she does not want to go to mediation and it does not look like she is going to go to court. I attended and MIAM too, She has refused to negotiate (directly or indirectly) and she just seems to wants to keep this open for later. I think she is hoping my income will rise, or I will inherit or accumulate assets, or something similar so she can make a claim at that point.

I do not want to have a possible future application from her hanging over my head indefinitely and would like to apply to the court to make an order ending our financial obligations (which seems a reasonably outcome in our circumstances).

My problem is that the tick boxes on Form A do not seem to cover this. I do not want to apply for periodic payments or a lump sum etc. What do I tick in the column on the right on page 2 of Form A?

Usual advice is tick all of them except Maintenance Pending Suite as that keeps your options open.

Thank you, that makes sense.

Its not going to be easy as my ex has made it pretty clear she wants to make it as difficult and as expensive for me as possible.
