My partners ex has applied for CM for their 3 children, on top of the 50% salary he gives her as SM (which at the time was agreed to include all support of the children but she’s had a change of heart now she’s got herself in to debt, and it isn’t clearly spelt out in their agreement, helpfully). We need to do a variation order to get the SM lowered as 75% of his salary going elsewhere is just not feasible. Can anyone give some advice on how we do this please?
Where do we get the forms from?
Can we do this alone without representation? We are intelligent people just not au fait with law.
Does anyone have any experience/helpful tips of going through this process themselves?
Thanks so much

Did you find out if the arrangement in place is a stamped Court Order?

Hi. Yes it was stamped - SM, not a global agreement. Sadly.
We have been to see a solicitor who advised first choice: resolution between the parties (not happening any time soon), mediation (which we will try but still unlikely to resolve situation) and lastly to do a variation order. We just aren’t sure which form to fill in for this and if we can realistically do this without a solicitor?
