I desperately require some assistance and have absolutely no idea what to do anymore. I tried to resolve my issues myself, but reached the end of my line.

My Ex-wife made numerous false allegations against me and it took me 2 years to clear my name. My Ex broke into my house (it was joined) when I went to work one night and she totally emptied a 3-story house, that include my personal items, I reported this to the police and they taught at me. Noting could be done. My ex sold our holiday car and holiday house furniture. I was left with all the bills, loans and car payments. I could not afford all these bills, loans and car payments so worked overtime until everything is sorted in court. But then she contacted child maintenance and requested more money, I trued to explain this to child services, but with no help and subsequently I excepted defeat and had to give the car back.

I am financially destroyed
I lost my car
I am paying for all the loans
I now have a lease car fine for 7k
Child maintenance is sending me letters saying they are going to collect the money from my work that’s going to be £200 more per month

I complaint to the MP, but he does not want to help

I literally gave up; she don’t pay a penny for any loans and bought a car cash and live in her 3-story house with all my furniture.

How do i stop this financial bulling?
How do i get my personal items back?
How do i stop child services from threatening me?

Hi,

What stage are you at in the divorce and financial settlement?

Child maintenance is based on income and is a statutory requirement. If you don't pay, the money can be taken from your salary.

The other financial matters are separate.

Perhaps you would clarify what is going on so we can help.

Where do i start. we went for our first meeting and a woman judge said that our nest meeting will be the final hearing, but when i walked out it down on me that my ex submitted Zero financial statements and the e form she completed was given to me on the court date. How can a court system make such an massive mistake, i am waiting for their respond.

UK House, My Ex moved out the joint property and all keys were with me, this was on a Tuesday. I work nights, so when i got home Friday morning, she got a removal company, broke into the house and emptied a 3 story house, including my personal items, clothes and jewelry. only one bed and odd staff left. Called police and they laughed at me.

Lease Car, New range rover. it was her car, but she declined to pay or take it, i took it and paid for it for 2 years, worked overtime to cover it, but my ex went to child services and informed them i work overtime, they requested extra money. i just gave up and returned the car, i could not afford the car and child maintenance. now i have a 7K lease fine.

we had property in south Africa and a car, she sold the holiday car and furniture. the holiday house was on both names, we sold that and the lawyer divided it.

i had a bank loan that i paid off, it was for the swimming pool for the house, my ex declined to pay 1/2.

my ex bought a BMW with all the stolen money

all my furniture is in her house with my work computers

my ex applied fraudulently for an IVA (Bankruptcy) in 2016, hence me requesting Divorce. i got the fraudulently IVA canceled, but she emptied the joint overdraft. 6K, now the bank wants the money from me.

I earn a good salary, but with all the stuff above, i can barley buy food and have 3 credit cards maxed out to keep up with all the bills

Do you mean you have not seen or signed an Acknowledgement of Service or had any other notification of divorce proceedings?

If you had the first hearing, are you saying that there was no financial disclosure from your ex before the day so no opportunity to raise questions etc? Did you send her a form E or at least file one with the court?

Have you got an order from that hearing?

It should clarify what needs to be done before the next hearing and what type of hearing that will be.

Is your ex represented? Are you?

- I haven't signed anything

- The financial disclosure was completed, but only old payslips was attached, no other information, bank statements

- We attended the first hearing (30 min) but i had i updated my paperwork to say that my ex declined to provide financial information, it was totally overlooked.

I seriously need a Solicitor, but i am totally and utterly bankrupt. After the separation i paid all the loans, all the bills and when i've done overtime my ex went to child maintenance and now i am paying extra. my ex made fraud allegations and it took me 2 years t clear my name. the divorce paperwork was completed fraudulently. My ex made herself bankrupt, it took me 2 years to cancel this due to that she was not bankrbt, she only wanted me to pay. i've just found out that my ex changed the kids school without informing me.

Please help, what do i need to do? i earn a good salary, but all the money is going towards my bills and loans and credit card charged.

First are you paying anything to your ex other than child maintenance?

All bills etc should be in her sole name. If you have a joint mortgage you may need to keep that up if she doesn't. Apart from that you only need to pay child maintenance.

It is worth talking to the CAB who may be able to help you set up a debt management plan.

I think you are focusing too much on the unfairness of your situation (which I sympathise with) and getting het up when what's needed is a cool head and an organised approach.

If there is missing information that is material to any financial settlement, you need to draw this to the attention of the judge. If you did not get chance to produce a questionnaire, you should do so now. If there is no order which sets deadlines for questionnaire to be answered, set one yourself. If you don't get adequate answers or there is still stuff missing, you can apply to the courts for an order to answer a schedule of deficiencies. This is a list of what's missing that she can be ordered to produce.

If you have a reasonable picture of her financial position, you could consider a offer to settle. We can help you to work out what may be fair if you can provide some information

We need to know

Ages
Length of marriage plus any cohabitation
Incomes including any benefits
Children - ages and arrangements for them.
Former matrimonial home - market value, outstanding mortgage and size
Pensions - Cevs and type
Value of other assets in sole or joint names
Debts/loans in sole or joint names and how they were accrued

Any other factor that may have an impact on financial Settlement eg disability, inheritance etc.
