Unexpectedly I've managed to agree a variation of my original Consent Order with my ex.

We've agreed terms after some mediation and now I need to get it formalised.

I've had an estimate for £1-£2k ex VAT from a solicitor to process this. In fairness that's a 4-8 hour estimate which didn't sound unreasonable, but it's still a chunk of cash.

Does anyone know how hard this would be to do on my own? Or are they any fixed fee solicitors who could do this cheaper?
