Just an update to me current situation...

So over five months down the line, I have received the Decree Nisi and the Decree Absolute should be granted on Feb 14th... I say should but its unlikely because our financial agreements havent been settled.

On the plus side, spousal maintenance isnt on the agenda, but due to the differences in pension pots I have been advised (Just had the quote through yesterday £1600 plus VAT) that this needs to be sorted out by an actuary service. My ex wife has has agreed in principle to this. I note the wording, in principle.

Now I have been thinking about this for a while and I were wondering if anyone had experience with this? and maybe retracted and refused the initial proposal? what was or what would be the likely outcome? would I have to go to court and payout more money just to be told I had to give up a proportion of my pension? is it too risky and should I just accept the situation?

Thoughts please would be much appreciated

On a slightly separate note its cost me just short of £3K in legal fees... so far!!!
