hi can sombody advise i will be seeking divorce soon i hope from my controling partner
we bought presant home together renovated cottages also created holiday cottages
which is now run by myself as business my husband earns 80 /90.000 per year self employed consultant so bussiness is in my name
becuase the property will have to be sold and that will mean i will lose my job income be it very little wiil i be able to claim maintanance or a bigger share of the assets
as i will not have job income after split
we have been married 3/half years age 54 /58 als i will have no home and very little chance of re morgages thanks

I'm afraid I can't be of much help but did you put any of your own equity into the purchase of your home? And why will the property have to be sold? Could it not be bought out by one of you and the income still be used by you?

Maybe someone who knows more about business or legal things will be able to give you better advice.
