I have a flat that I bought 6 years before my marriage my, question is do I have gave my to wife 50%

It depends upon a lot of things such as how long you have been married, whether there are children and how large the asset base is.

The starting point is that all assets are matrimonial assets and the division is 50:50 unless there are good reasons to depart from this approach.

we are married abut 15 years there is a child 14 years old
this property is the only assets that I have
she never work to help daily expense and bills and I was supporting her for 12 years for her study collages
I am 68 and retied with very low income but she is 21 years younger than me so she can work also our daughter doesn't wants to live with her .
I am presenting my self as I can't afford a lawyer .
how can I save my flat and my daughter ?
I worked very hared for 33 years and this is only assets that I have .
can you please help and advise me

Hello Mr.

15 years is a long marriage so the starting point would be 50:50 with any adjustment based on
needs.

If you post details for both of your assets such as: income, pensions, house mortgage/equity and number of bedrooms, savings, debts, investments, etc. then someone can comment on what a fair settlement might look like.

details of my assets : my income pensions are about £800 a month there is no mortgage on flat
is two bedroom flat and the valuation about £650,000
I have no saving ,( I have exhausted my savings) no debts ,no investments
I have a Pre-nuptial Agreement + hand writing to confirm as well .

can someone please comment on what a fair settlement might look like.in court
