To acknowledge, appreciate and celebrate our members we have decided to do ‘Wiki of the Week’.
This week our Wiki of the Week is Action.

Please could you provide a brief biography answering the following questions:

• Can you please describe, briefly, how long you’ve been at Wiki and why you joined?

I joined Wiki about four years ago, a couple of months after my split from my husband of 31 years - I found the site after searching the internet for answers to various financial questions.

• What’s your top tip for surviving divorce?

Top tip for surviving divorce would be to consider everything carefully and not be rushed or bullied into making decisions too quickly. My ex did a lot of damage to my emotional well-being by rushing things in the early stages. I really wasn''t in the right place for starting the divorce petition so soon.

• Do you have experience in or specialise in any particular area of Family law?

I only have my own personal experience of divorce so would not class it as a specialty. My children were grown up so I know very little about children in divorce.

• What do you do to unwind/relax?

To relax I walk my dog. I think exercise and fresh air is great for de-stressing. I also sing in my local Choral Society which really helped with my depression and I have made lots of friends as a result.

Thank you very much Action for your responses and also for everything you do at Wikivorce.

If anyone would like to nominate another member for Wiki of the Week, please PM me, thanks.
