Peeps,

We have had a request from ITV1's Tonight Programme. They are planning a programme about divorce and the credit crunch and its effects on housing and divorce. It is just at the research stages and they are looking for people to chat to confidentially about their situation. Talking to them at this stage does not commit you to anything but it will help make the programme better because the issues we face will be clearly understood.

If you would like to help with the research, please PM me, Hadenoughnow with your contact details (ideally a phone number and/or email address) ASAP. Many thanks.

This is what the producer has asked for:

Has the credit crunch made leaving your partner harder to do? Are you trapped with your ex in a house you are desperate to sell? Has the credit crunch meant moving on after divorce is even tougher – you cannot sell, or buy or downsize?

I am producing a programme as part of ITV's Tonight series looking at financial, legal and emotion difficulties faced by separated couples trying to sell their martial home in a property slump. Those who are forced to live together as they cannot move out of the family home, sell, downsize or move on. Many couples are putting off getting divorced, and splitting up because the property market is stagnant.
