Divorce was finalised last summer. We have one child with shared custody. I didn't realise I needed a separate financial separation until I was advised as such recently. We both split our only asset (house sale equity) 50/50 and we both have similar salary and pension. Ex agreed to Clean Break Order so I went ahead with that but she didn't realise she would need to give financial disclosure. She now won't comply because she feels it is too intrusive and doesn't want me seeing her financial position. I reinvested my equity into a new property with new partner and I rather suspect she spent hers paying off debts.

Where does that leave me? I need to get a financial separation because I don't want the threat of her coming after me in the future for my inheritance and future equity in new property.

She said she will provide signed witnessed statements saying she relinquishes all future claims and that our martial assets were split 50/50. I understand she needs to provide more financial disclosure to satisfy the court but what else can I do?

Apply to court.
If she won’t provide the information they will order her to supply it and can penalise her for failing to do so.
