Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

After Financial Order approval by judge after FDR, I sent D36 to courts with a note to say it had taken longer than 12 months from conditional order due to financial settlement taking longer than expected.

As i was previously represented by a solicitor, I had to send a form FP8 to say I was now self -representing but I still do not have access to the portal.

I had an email from courts saying these forms were uploaded and would be then reviewed by a judge.

Since then my wife's solicitor has emailed me to say that my wife has said I have received communication from the court asking for further information before granting final divorce, which I haven't. I believe my wife has access to the portal so maybe she has seen something I haven't

I was the petitioner at the start of the process.

They have sent me a pre-prepared PETITIONER’S STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF APPLICATION FOR FINAL ORDER OF Divorce and told me to sign and upload it to the portal.

I haven't done this as I haven't been asked to do so by the courts and also on the statement there are things that I am not sure of.

One is:
I now wish for the conditional order to be made final and confirm that I have taken
legal advice about this

Well I haven't had legal advice about this as I am self representing

Another is:
The Respondent has not to my knowledge given birth to any children since the date
of the conditional order of divorce.

Why is this relevant? If i were to believe gossip, she is pregnant and likely to move in with her new partner once final order has been granted but i'm not sure of the relevance of the above point.

If anyone could offer some guidance on what I should do next, I'd be very grateful.
