Hi, new here so a bit nervous. I will just tell you like it is:

Married 8 years, cohabited 5 years, total 13 year relationship
I am 36, he is 39
One child, 10 years
Equity in home approx 70K
His pension CETV 85K
My pension CETV 5K
Earn similar wages

Been seperated 2 1/2 years. He wants 50/50 split and to keep all his pension.
He said if I cannot give him 50/50 then he wants to sell home.
All forms exchanged, attended first hearing, FDR next week. I have offered 20% which was rejected. I could barely afford this and will struggle if judge decides this is what I have to give him in order to keep home. If he is awarded more then I dont know what will happen. I cannot afford to give him more
Am I going to loose my home?
I am out of my mind with worry
My ex says his solicitor is so confident that he will get 50% that he is prepared to go all the way in court.
I cannot afford this. He is renting

disparity of pensions means he wont get 50:50 in Court.

Your childs housing needs will be paramount.

Stop wasting your time worrying and wait and see what FDR brings.

I think you will be less worried then
