I have a mesher order as part of my Consent Order. My ex stayed in the house, and i continued to pay the mortgage. One of the trigger events has occured and the property is now on the market.

I am being pressured by my ex's solicitor to provide details on the mortgage amount. This has not changed since the divorce and all payments are up to date. I have provided the information verbally and in writing to them, but she wants all my mortage details, from the lender.

They are threatening court if i dont send them the documentation, am I obliged to do this ?

The mortgage and the house has only ever been in my name ,even when we were married

Does your order contain words something like ' liberty to apply as to the implementation and timing of the terms of this order ' ?

If so,( and I suspect it probably does ) then your ex could go back to Court, but this seems to me using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Sorry, but I don't think your ex's solicitor is being unreasonable here. If I were in the same position I would want the information from the lender too.

Your lender won't release the information to her without your permission.

If the information from the lender would merely confirm what you are saying, where is the problem ?

I'm sorry, but you asked me.

Hi thanks it does !!!

It is not the mortgage amount I mind disclosing, but my personal financial info.

The problem really is that in the past she (the ex ) has used my financial information for her own personal gain,
Would it be acceptable to show them the statement, but blank out my personal details such as account number , monthly payments insurances etc ????
