I applied for my absolute on 22nd April 2008, it was made on 23rd April 2008 and a sealed copy of the order popped through the letterbox on 30th April 2008. This was in the Birmingham Family Court which I would expect to be fairly busy but they have been prompt throughout the whole process as I only lodged the petition on 28th January 2008!
